TRINIDAD ROBUSTO EXTRA

Originally introduced in 2004, the vitola was available for the next eight years before taking an early retirement. However, this relatively brief appearance proved ample time to leave a lasting impression on those cigar enthusiasts who had discovered this remarkable cigar.

Some twenty years later In 2024, in celebration of the 55th anniversary of the Trinidad brand, Habanos S.A. reintroduced the vitola, offering devotees the opportunity to enjoy it once again as part of a three-day Habanos World Days festival held in London.

The Robusto Extra is medium bodied and shares all the classic, accessible and aromatic charm of its predecessor. With the measurements of a Doble , 6 1/8” (155 mm) x 50 ring gauge, but with the addition of a pigtail cap which is a signature of the Trinidad brand, this cigar is made entirely by hand with select leaves from the renown Vuelta Abajo zone.

Initially reintroduced in presentation gift boxes containing 3 cigars, the Trinidad Robusto Extra is now available in lacquered boxes of 12.

This style of presentation moves the brand away for the first time from the traditional semi-boîte nature boxes for which the brand has become renowned. The cigars in the new 12 box remain dressed with three bands, including one celebrating the brand’s 55 anniversary.
